ARRI Inc. Expands into Suspension Systems for the Americas
(Las Vegas NAB Show 2012, NV--April 16, 2012) ARRI Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Keppler in the position of Manager, Lighting Systems to integrate suspension with ARRI fixtures and other lighting equipment. Keppler comes to ARRI with over 20 years of experience in the design and distribution of manual and motorized rigging systems and lighting control.
Glenn Kennel, President of ARRI Inc. says, “Michael helps us expand our lighting business, adding ARRI suspension systems to our line of fixtures and accessories. He will provide engineering support for the specification and design of lighting systems installed by our system integrators.”
Keppler’s extensive knowledge covers the broadcast, architectural lighting and scholastic markets. Combining his expertise with ARRI’s renowned product portfolio results in custom suspension, control and dimmer integration for a wide array of applications. He comes to ARRI after years of overseeing the design and distribution of rigging systems for performance and ambient lighting at Keppler Engineers. He formerly served as Vice President at Manfrotto and before that, Keppler was employed as Transtechnik’s Sales Manager, where he established a subsidiary in the United States for their lighting control and rigging systems.
Keppler has overseen design and implementation in systems for QVC, Lincoln Center, the Visitor Center of the Capitol, School of the Future and ABC’s famous Times Square studio. Fixtures on certain projects could sometimes count into the hundreds. Over the years, ARRI luminaires demonstrated time and again top notch, long-lasting quality over the competition. He explains, “I’ve never had a problem with ARRI fixtures in my projects. ARRI makes the only fixtures that are painless to install. Once you have an ARRI fixture installed, you can basically forget about it. It’s a very reliable and robust product. Lighting designers and directors work with the lights on a daily basis, they never question the quality of an ARRI lighting fixture.”
Based out of ARRI Inc.’s Blauvelt, NY office, Keppler is confident in pairing exceptional lights with state-of-the art suspension systems. “I joined ARRI because of the reputation the company has. We have huge opportunities to develop globally and here in the Americas. I’m excited to continue to do the work I enjoy doing with this outstanding brand.”
Previews of ARRI suspension systems will be show at ARRI’s NAB Booth #C6737.
