[Michael Kammes] "No VGA output (iPad 1)!"

It really is annoying the way there are SOME apps that allow VGA output, or HDMI output, or either, or both, and sometimes mirrored and other times video out-only with iPad 1, but most others, not at all.

My biggest pet peeve is Keynote - VGA and HDMI: mirror. BUT NOTE: the iPad sits in the dock VERTICALLY ONLY, yet the presentations coming out of Keynote are HORIZONTAL ONLY, so you have to turn your head sideways....which is another annoyance, because vertically oriented presentations work fine on the desktop/laptop version of Keynote.

The only reader app I've encountered that does video out is Good Reader, definitely over VGA, not sure about HDMI. No mirroring.

For all that I've seen people rave about Good Reader (12,000+ 5-star ratings, vs. 800-ish 1 star ratings), I find it slow and crashy. But it's worth a try...
