If I want to make an iBook with videos, do I:
A. Make an enhanced iBook with embedded media?
Apple nor any google search has revealed how an enhanced iBook is actually created.
B. Make a regular epub format book and use hyperlinks to link to web-hosted iPad compatible videos. The drawback of this is that the links can be spread outside of the book, limiting the allure of purchasing the book. Or is there a way to hide the link? The positive of this method is links can be updated.
C. Make a standalone app with all the media embedded. Or is an enhanced iBook simply an App that is called a "book" ? This enhanced book is actually an app, and it looks amazing:

D. Make a paid access website with all the same content. This seems the least likely since if you are not on a wifi network (airplane for example) you are out of luck. Also, can you make ecommerce transactions over the iPad? Probably since that is a major use of the internet. Likewise, does the iPad remember passwords for websites like a regular web browser on a computer? I guess the question is, aside from the plugin limitations, does the iPad Safari browser work as expected?
Since a lot of our books have related video content, seems like a perfect fit. Just have to figure out how this actually happens.
Lots of questions within questions here.
