But, you can install QT on a PC. It might be a matter of policy, but it can be done at any time. On any Apple product, except for iOS, you can install Flash. On iOS you cannot. It's not a matter of choice and that makes the big difference.
I'm writing this with my iPad, I love the thing but I hate to not being able to use it for every website. I do agree that Flash has its days numbered, for good reasons, but the lack of choice is disturbing,
One things that I thought, since Steve Jobs stated that they listen to the market, was to send him an email for every site that I meet with my iPad that doesn't work because of the lack of Flash support.
I think that that would be the right move. Something like this:
Dear Steve.
I just tried to use this website: link
and it doesn't show on my iPad because of the lack of Flash support. I'm disappointed.
Sincerely.
We should turn this into a bookmarlet and do it.
