Really? I just tried this again with a cube instead of an empty and it worked the way I thought it should. Is there any reason it works so differently with an empty? Just have to make the cube invisible. I guess the reason I never had this problem before is that its only recently that I have started using empties. Before I would just make an object and have to invisible. Thanks for the response!
