The Pal NTSC thing is confusing, because the Canon 7D does switch from pal to ntsc, but it is only for playback on a tv.

The other poster is correct, the Canon HD DSLR's shoot progressive and the 7D at the moment has the most choice of frame rates, including 60fps which will give some cool slow motion when you adjust your fps in an editor to say 24fps.

For the OP the Canon 7D would be a good choice.
