Damien,

A third option would be to import your SCC caption file into MovieCaptioner where you can make any edits, then export again as a new SCC file.

Please note that since the SCC imports are optimized for QT Player upon import, after importing you will need to go to the Edit menu and select Shift Start Times. Change the time setting to 1.05 seconds and select the SOONER radio button. Then click the Shift Start Times button. That should give you the same timecode when you export as you got when you imported. Pretty easy.

The demo is fully functional for 14 days: http://www.synchrimedia.com
