Verifying Closed captions in an ATSC DT 608/708 MPEG2 file created in MacCaption

Hello,
How is it that I verify captions of a MPEG2 file exported as a ATSC DT 608/708 MPEG2 file using MacCaption?
I tried playing the file in Quicktime 10 and Itunes but I was not able to see closed captions. In Quicktime the Closed Captions option was ghosted out and in ITunes the closed captions option is turned on.
I am delivering this file FTP to my client and I want to verify that the closed captions are there.
Any help would be GREAT!
Thanks in advance.
Michelle
