Hi Mitch,
Yes MacCaption works together with the Final Cut Suite apps and lets you output to tape, disc, or files with closed captioning, without the need for any additional captioning hardware.

The exact workflow depends on what format(s) you need to output to, but we have workflows for all the common editing hardware (AJA, Matrox, Blackmagic, Firewire) and file formats used with Final Cut Pro.
