Remote query

Hi,

Since last post I have now server and web client up and running and organized my backup of P2 cards in week-folders. The worker-node is scanning the week-folders, and who knows maybe it will be done sometime in the near future:-)

The worker-node has published a lot of catalogs, and after reading the forum I understand that I should not worry on the numbers of catalog created. Better many small, than fewer big ones, right?

What I want to do know is search the database across catalogs, but I have some problems.. Shooting P2 there are two sets of metadata Structural and descripting. If I use a client and ask to show all clips in the catalogs I can search (or filter) descripting metadata like shooter which is added by the camera) This type of metadata is blue in theCAT DV search-tools. But if I make a query to the server only green types of metadata is searchable like the structural ones (format, audio etc).

So my question is: How can I search for clips by Shooter across catalogs?
