Thunderbolt everywhere

I just saw that CalDigit released a way to interface almost all their devices via Thunderbolt instead of PCIe (http://www.caldigit.com/thunderbolt/) and Cubix is announcing a two-slot Thunderbolt PCI expander (http://www.cubixgpu.com/Blog/1/42) and Magma has a three slot one...

Could lead to some interesting configurations, especially if the Thunderbolt ports on the likely new Mac Pro don't come at the expense of PCI slots...
