From what I've seen, the software scopes in Resolve aren't that great, but if you can live with the scopes in Color you should be fine.

I've been using a Tektronix WVR feeding a 17" JVC HD monitor for the past year and I have to say, it's much easier on the eyes. Whenever I have to go back to software scopes(besides Scopebox, which is awesome by the way) or stare at a small hardware vectorscope/waveform monitor, it drives me crazy.
