Charles HaineGPU mixing and the Cubix

So, this might be a little obscure, but here it goes:

We just set up a second room, but only have 1 Cubix, which is full of 285s with a RED rocket and lives in our bigger, more theater style room.

However, I was thinking of putting in a Cubix expander card in the other machine, so that I could easily move the Cubix around (if there is an editorial job in the theater, say, and we wanted the rocket in the smaller broadcast room).

However, in that smaller room we just have an internal 570 for GPU, with a GT120 running the monitors.

Now, if I plugged in the Cubix to the little machine, I'd have 3 285x and 1 570 GPU. How would Da Vinci handle that? They need to all be identical to function, is that, correct?

Should I swap out my 285's for 570s in the Cubix?

Could I get away with 580's in the Cubix with the 570 internal and Da Vinci will use all of them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
