If you by the Kb (knob panel) to use with Resolve then you will need to buy the Bt (button panel) as well. You need the Bt to switch between modes on the Kb.

I guess I need to edit my previous comment that the Kb could switch menus and forth without the Bt... I may have "activated" it by using a shortcut while the Bt was plugged in, and then it continued to work after the Bt was unplugged... I'm not sure that you would get anything if you started it up without the Bt...
