Isn't the native AVCIntra support provide only with FCP7?

I just tried some AVCIntra clips that I shot while ago, with FCP7 and V4HD, it worked really nicely.

AVCIntra in Mac is only decoding at this moment, so using Log and Transfer, you are able to ingest the AVCIntra clips as AVCIntra clips, but the editing timeline will be ProRes422HQ and won't be able to render in AVCIntra (not problem). If this works even with Mac Book Pro, that would be really nice (1080 AVCIntra on Mac shows 14.xxMB/sec so maybe possilbe?).
