I think you are going to need to update to FCP 6.02

Check out this link:

AVC-Intra Support
The Log and Transfer window now includes support for transfer of AVC-Intra footage. Keep in mind the following requirements for working with AVC-Intra footage:

• AVC-Intra footage must be transcoded to the Apple ProRes 422 codec.
• Only Intel-based Macintosh computers include support for AVC-Intra footage.
• An icon indicating limited preview playback appears when AVC-Intra footage cannot be played back at its full frame rate. When in limited preview playback mode, audio preview will be disabled.
• Full video preview of AVC-Intra footage requires a Mac Pro computer.
• An AVC-Intra codec, available from Panasonic, must be installed.
For more information, open Final Cut Pro and choose Help > HD and Broadcast Formats.

Hope that helps!

Dave
