Hi Ken - Michael is right - try to avoid toe-in. I don't know much about the 3DA1 - it may have a clever way of dealing with toe-in - but this will usually give you problems in post (adjusting 'keystone')which will lose you some resolution through cropping.

Are you renting this camera? If so how much for the whole shoot? It might be better if you're shooting more 3D in future to invest in a couple of HD camcorders and set them up on a bar. It will give you more flexibility and may work out cheaper.

About the depth chart issue - all the info you need is in the book I mentioned above - "3D Movie Making" by Bernard Mendiburu. Depth charts will help you plan changes in the apparent depth of the final movie - it will tell you when you need to change the interaxial distance when shooting - it will make the finished result easier on the eyes and allow you to have maximum 3D impact when the script calls for it.

If any of the above is not clear - please get back to me.

Good luck with your shoot!
