Sterescopic Projection using 2 projectors

Hello everyone,

Can anybody please tell me if it is possible to generate 3D stereoscopic images using 2 projectors? i googled a little and found that 120hz is essential for stereoscopy.

Can anyone please tell me if i can do the same with 2 60hz displays? One displaying the left image and one displaying the right?

And then viewing this through LCD shutter glasses? Is this possible?
