[Victor Köhler] "Im looking for a setup with the Samsung UE46C8705 3D tv connected to a Mac Pro to be able to play stereoscopic material from the computer to the TV."

I recommend using a real video output from card. You will need to have either an HDMI output from the card directly or use a HDMI converter that has the v1.4 spec enabled on it.

I personally use a Kona 3 to a 3GHA5 HDMI converter from AJA for my delivery to the consumer sets, I work with both the cineform neo3D codec and I also a trying out the Dashwood 3D toolbox also.

Once the editing and finishing work is completed I use a KiPro to deliver the content.
