Very interesting, thanks for posting this.

The market really does need cameras like this. We've had for a long time the SD version of this, the Ikegami LK-33 and it is great to have a compact camera that can get a majority of shots quickly without a lot of fuss messing with the 3D parameters.

It will be interesting to see how real of a product this is, and if it performs as advertised. The comparison to the Red One is sobering--look how many builds it's taken to get that camera to its current state.

I note that the picture on the front page is completely different from the pictures on the features page. hmmm.

I also note that the interocular is locked, (as the LK33 is too) although I don't think this is as big a problem as people make it out to be. I much prefer having a camera that's quick and easy to set up for most of a productions shots, and specialty cameras for getting the closeups and insert shots etc.

Also, I implore everyone in the world of stereo3D to ban the words "only" or "first" from their vocabularies. Someone has ALWAYS done it before in this biz, and someone else quite likely is doing it right now. I don't know anyone offering for sale a working system just like this, but then they don't seem to be selling this yet either. And there are proprietary systems available out there for rental, or that are in house cameras for some production companies.

But it would be fantastic if these guys deliver.
