How to test stereoscopic 3D

Hi,

with the increasing amount of all things 3D (movies, games, etc.) I was wondering if there´s a proper way to build and test a video in 3D, whether made in Premiere or After Effects. I know the latest installments have incorporated 3D workflow, but I haven't had the chance to test them yet.

Also, I would like to know if 3D built in a workstation, can be tested with something like Nvidia glasses, and then be seen properly in a projector or movie theater with other kind of glasses (Real D for example). Most of all, I'd like to know how to test 3D quality before delivering the final piece.
