I've been burning 3D Blu-Ray disks and they come out great in the wide, side-by-side format, 1080i60. You can't render so that they automatically will play as 3D unless you use one of the top-end commercial rendering/burning programs (sorry, I forget their names). As far as I know, in all cases with Vegas Pro 10/11, you have to manually switch the TV to 3D and select the side-by-side option (or whichever format you're using), then play your 3D Blu-Ray disk (BD-R or BD-RE). I have a Samsung 3D-HDTV with shutter glasses. I'm amazed at how good the pictures come out in 3D. Biggest artistic challenge is where to set the convergence plane and adjusting the interaxial distance. Still playing with that. I would be interested to know if anyone is aware of reasonably inexpensive software that would burn 3D video on Blu-Ray disks so that it automatically loads up as 3D just like the commercial Blu-Ray movies. Good luck!

Max
