Hi Mukund,
I work for a projector manufacturer. There are several ways to achieve 3D stereo.

Your image source needs to support outputting 3D content. This often relies on your graphics card.

What is the content you want to display?

There are several 3D video playback software solutions available, here are a couple:
Stereoscopic Player - http://3dtv.at
Bino 3D - http://bino3d.org

On the output side of things you obviously need a projector/display that supports 3D - we currently have a few different solutions that you can check out:

F10AS3D - Active (very compact projector - requires 2x 60Hz signal via 2x DVI or 2x VGA) native resolution of 1400x1050 (handles signals up to full HD)

F35AS3D - Active (Brand new model - 120Hz frame sequential) available in 1080 or WUXGA

All our projector models can also be supplied with infitec filters (wavelength multiplexing) - this is a passive 3D solution. It requires two projectors (with respective left and right filter fitted) and Infitec passive 3D glasses.

There are other less expensive brands out there, our projectors are widely used in professional applications (simulation, 24/7 control rooms etc.) running lower resolution and quality.

For more info on different 3D terms please check wikipedia:

Hope you find this helpful.

Kind regards,
Espen
