Sony HDR TD10 3D files imported into Vegas 11 can be displayed on a passive LG monitor using the Line Alternate option and the camera displays properly when plugged directly into the monitor via HDMI.

The issue I have is in trying to render anything useful in Vegas.

Files rendered at 720 display but have to be positioned with pixel Y axis precision on the line alternate monitor to avoid moiré patterns. Maybe I have to live with this..

Files rendered at 1080 using various output options (.mts / .avi / .mxf..) produce double images, distortions.. it's a real mess.

What is more, for some reason the Vegas monitoring simply stops after some renders: black screens on both the main screen and the external 3G monitor wherever you position the cursor on the timeline: this looks like a Vegas bug.

I'm beginning to think that an active shutter system might have been a better bet but has anyone any thoughts how produce a coherent 1080 render?
