Hey Michael, I would also like to use a 3D monitor with Final Cut via HDMI 1.4. I have been using a matrox dual head2go with two polarised projectors, setting my video display to 2560x720 and it displays the sbs screens just fine. However i am curious about a setup for a 3D monitor through HDMI 1.4...will the monitor "understand" the sbs as a stereo signal, to overlap at 120 hz? does FCP understand that the output display, though 1920x1080, can actually present the full 3840x1080? are there special settings to be made in the mac system settings screen display setup, and FCP, for the 3D signal to be understood? Or does a video card with HDMI 1.4 handle all that automatically? Very curious, if you have any experience or suggestions for reading would be much appreciated. I have not yet purchased an HDMI 1.4 video card.

cheers
