I don't want to post outside news links but I just read that

ITV is moving from Silverlight back to Flash
http://www.itv.com/
One issue cited was that PPC Macs can't use Silverlight 2. Silverlight is now at version 3. PPC Macs can only use Silverlight 1 (which doesn't play H.264 for example).

Earlier this year MLB moved from Silverlight back to Flash as well. They apparently felt Silverlight was too unstable.

Netflix, for example though, uses Silverlight for their "view immediately" movies. Since Silverlight 3 was introduced I'm finding the quality a bit better when I send from my MacPro to my 46" 1080p HDTV, although the movies are not genuinely "HD"
