New Opportunity with Microsoft for Avid Editors :)

Microsoft is looking for the next web series star. To be apart of this opportunity you can submit a short film on any subject of 100 seconds maximum length. Microsoft will select up to 3 winners and pay them $2500 each. The winners will also be part of "PC Hookup" a new Microsoft web series hosted by Christian Lander ("Stuff White People Like" blog), get more exposure for their films on "PC Hookup," and one winner will be awarded a tricked out PC. The easiest way to participate in this opportunity is to submit a film that you've already made (and that you have all the rights to). If you are considering making a new film get started early to meet the July 27th deadline. You will still have access to the necessary release forms and free music in the APM library. The one caveat is that your film MUST have been edited on a PC and you MUST be a PC user. If you're not a PC filmmaker pass this opportunity on to someone who is and have them contact us.

The film can be a music video, short narrative, anything really (though they aren't necessarily looking for commercials).
