I'm already pretty familiar with node-based compositors. I've used Shake for a long time, and I've dabbled in Fusion, Flint and Flame.

One of the greatest things about Combustion is the ability to work in the schematic view. While Combustion is really a hybrid layer/node app, the schematic view really opens up possibilities that just aren't as easy to manage in apps like AE.

I've watched all of the Toxik videos on Autodesk's website and I think Toxik's Touch UI is incredibly compelling. I don't think I'll have any problems adapting.
