At the moment I do think toxik supports AJA or other capture or playout hardware cards. It supports multiple monitors for video out when playing out in stereo but as far as I can tell that is DVI only.

If you love comustion (as I do) you will find Toxik requires a bit of a learning curve as it is 100% node based. Your going to miss certain things about combustion and at certain times combustion is the better tool for the job. Vector paint is a big feature Toxik is missing. But man talk about speed. I'm running toxik on an older dual quad opteron with 8gb ram and a quadro 1700 card (windows xp64) with 6 striped 250GB drives and once the mediacache as done it's thing I'm getting great results with 2K.
