XDCAM HD422 + Adobe CS5

Lately I don't seem to be doing very well with getting responses, but I thought I would throw this one up as well, see if someone else here is already doing this:

We're about to make a huge expansion to our post facility. Long story... It's been suggested to me by upper management that we consider dropping Final Cut Studio entirely from our workflow. While this makes me nervous, I can understand that it would save us time and headaches on the licensing front, and quite possibly make our round-trip workflow headaches between FCP and AE/C4D "mostly" disappear.

But, I'm not here for that... (see below)

Since we started talking about this, I wanted to do some testing. I have gone into one of our bays, wiped it clean, and installed:
- Mac OS (Snow Leopard)
- Adobe CS5 MC
- Sony's XDCAM browser software and drivers

And, as you may already know: it doesn't work. I can't see any XDCAM HD422 footage in either Premiere or in AE. Now, I assume that this has something to do with the fact that on my current machines, all of the XDCAM HD support is being provided by Final Cut Studio and its codecs.

My question is: does anyone know what the requirements are to have a XDCAM HD422 compliant workflow using ONLY Adobe CS5?
