Maxx Digital Rocks
by Brian Conner on Jul 15, 2009 at 3:43:44 pm

I've known Ron Amborn since before he started up Maxx Digital and he has always been a straight shooter, giving his clients more than their money's worth whenever possible.

With his Evo 2K series, he has blown the doors off the place. I love the newly designed enclosure for the desktop units. That Maxx cutout in the from door is way cool (do people still say 'way cool'?).

As a Reseller, I've bought a lot of drive arrays from Maxx Digital in the past few months. Though we had some start-up problems on a couple of custom designed arrays for a 6-seat SAN I installed for a client, between Ron and Peter, they got us up and running, and the client hasn't had a hiccup since. There have been no problems whatsoever on any of the other Maxx Digital systems.

I've bought many drive arrays over the past 10 or 12 years from a number of other vendors, but the stuff I get from Maxx Digital is the most reliable by far.

Yeah, I'm biased because I'm a Reseller, but my recommendations can never be bought. I rep for a lot of video and audio vendors, but there are only a very select few for whom I put my name out in public with a recommendation. I heartily recommend Maxx Digital.
