render an embedded alpha into a mov

Hi I am new to Nuke and am just evaluating it at the moment. I am trying to render out a QT mov with an alpha channel embedded. I can render out an image sequence with an alpha but every time I render a .mov Animation or none the alpha channel isn't there. I have set my write node channels to RGBA I am working on a mac and running nuke 5

any advice?
