What type of help do you need? I learned on the Infinit! family, which Maxine is a part of. You will probably hate going from Duet to Maxine in some aspects, if you are building things. You will need to work with Alpha channels, be able to import into the machine (we used DOS and FTP), some machines had Video Capture. You have to create an RGB font and then store your images as characters to be able to plot them on a "canvas". So you need to document where things are.
One thing to be very careful of is setting up your 16 fonts before recording a bunch of pages. The machines only hold 16 fonts at a time. There are ways to use more fonts but they will slow down the machine a lot and will cause a lot of frustration.
If you have more specific questions let me know and I'll try my best to answer them.
