Creating a new CG on an auomated system
by Bryant Vander Weerd on Oct 13, 2009 at 7:28:21 pm

Kurt -

As I recall, you have dealt with PVTV and Chyron working together in the past, as have I. Recently, I have created two new lower thirds I would like to add to add to our CG list. We have different templates for a 2 line graphic, a one line graphic, a courtesy graphic, and so on and so forth.

Well I have created a two shot graphic. As far as I can tell I have created the proper template fields (for PVTV to insert the proper names where they belong) and the messages are saved as the correct numbers. However, whenever I try to cue up either one of these new CGs, PVTV shows them as red and dont come up when clicked. All of the old graphics, the ones we have used before, are green and they pull up when I double click them.

What step am I missing? Is it something in ScriptViewer? Maybe Chyron? Or am I not telling PVTV something correct?

(PS, we use iNews to convert our TME functions to the rundown, and that is where I enter in the graphics numbers, etc - ScriptViewer then reads that and pulls it up in PVTV's CG column)
