Automation (Subscriptions/responses) stopped working...

Hi All,
Not sure how many of you have read my previous posts, but one of the things I have been trying hard to do is automate the updating of metadata from information in the filename. I have tried to use a couple of methods but have settled on a method of creating responses and subscriptions for the key information that will appear in filenames quite regularly. So basically I have about 15 responses/subscriptions to pick up metadata from filename info.
The process is as follows:
If Filename [contains] [16mm] --> RESPONSE (set asset metadata [original format= 16mm])
Subscriptions settings are as follows:
Enabled: True
Event Priority Modifier:
Normal
Event Type Filter:
Created ,Analysed
Response List:
Appropriate Response
I set all the subscriptions/responses up yesterday and got it to work for single clips I entered. It worked for several different subscriptions/responses at a time, so location, original format and the athlete all got picked up out of the filename and added to appropriate MD fields. But now when I try and do it, even for a single clip, this method doesn't work. None of the metadata is being added. I couldn't tell you what, if anything was changed to stop this process from happening.
Is there an overriding option to turn subscriptions on or off when assets are created??
Is there another way you anyone would go about doing something like this?
I am holding off importing a whole lot of content, so that I don't have to go back and update the metadata later on...
Cheers
Chris
