Using an Asset Filter with a subscription

Hi Guys,
Just have a question regarding the "any of" filter in the ASSET FILTER function when creating a subscription.
I have created a subscription that filters assets depending on certain text within a filename. The idea is that if the athletes name is in the filename, that metadata gets added to "Athlete" Custom metadata field.
When I set the Filename to "Contains" and then the value "Kelly Slater" as long as the filename contains "Kelly Slater", This Filter works.
When I change the Filename filter to "Any Of" "Kelly Slater" this no longer triggers the subscription to the asset.
I was under the impression that the "Any of" filter meant that either Kelly or Slater would be recognized and trigger the subscription, but this is not the case. Has anyone else come across this? is there a language I need to be using ie. Kelly AND Slater or should this work as is?
I have editors who will be logging footage and for speed, and no doubt will be using first names or last names, not always the whole lot.
Once again this is a missing piece of the puzzle, hope someone can help!
Cheers
Chris
