David,

If you are going to be using FCSvr then the way you organize your folders is going to be more important in many cases then what you actually name your files especially considering all the metadata tagging you can do to those files like keywords, etc. There are powerful ways to use a concept called "production scans" used in combination with a well thought out directory structure that can make your media assets in FCSvr much easier to utilize and find.

But I can't stress enough that if you really wish to use the workflow enhancements offered by FCSvr that you must spend a good amount of upfront time with a knowledgeable person that can help you get all this thought out before you begin deploying. A good amount of time spent upfront will make it far more useable and your level of satisfaction will be higher.
