Final Cut Server & After Effects integration

My company is in the beginning phases of setting up and using FCS, but I have a question that I haven't seen addressed anywhere: How does Final Cut Server work with After Effects projects? I know you can upload Motion projects pretty easily, but there's no mention of AE that I have found. Can AE projects be uploaded as an asset in a production, or do they need to exist as their own production, created from a collected AE project?
I prefer to use AE over Motion and I'm sure there are people who are using FCS & AE, so anyone with experience using these two applications together, I'm interested to hear how you integrated AE into the FCS workflow.
