Problem outputting from FCP Studio to Sony HDV Deck

Hello,
I am having an issue controlling my device through Final Cut Studio (6.0.2).
The computer registers the deck for Log and Capture mode and I have been capturing DV footage with no problem.
It is a Sony HDV Deck, Model GV HD-700. It is set for DV for my DV footage.
When it is time to playback my timeline or output back onto tape through the deck, however, I can't get my footage to show up on the deck and I cannot control my deck through the computer.
I tried almost every setting within Audio Video Settings, Device Control.
I set my Video Playback to All Frames as I usually do, refreshed AV/Devices.
I trashed my Final Cut Pro Preferences.
I tried to see if it was a problem within the deck.
The deck is set to:
DV (the options are HDV, DV, Auto)
1080i/480i (the options are 1080i/480i OR 480i)
iLink converter: OFF
If anyone has ever had this issue or has any ideas of what could be wrong, please let me know!
Thanks so much,
Vicky
