Metadata/Keyword organizing setup

To Whom It May Concern,
We are beginning to set up FCServer for a TV documentary project that will involve a great deal of graphics work. I have been browsing all the forums and the instruction manuals for advice and help. My question is regarding the most simple and easy way to organize a productions and all the assets that will go with it. From what I have read, it seems that the most important thing is making sure the metadata in all your assets is clear and organized. Thus making searches through your data that much easier and simpler. Does anyone have advice on keywords and techniques to organize footage (original and archival, interview and b-roll) and graphics (in progress and finished)? Is this the best organizing process/system? I am brand new to FCS so it is fairly confusing. I greatly appreciate your time and help.
