Do you mean the Blade server is gone? I'm using towers now, and so far I love 'em. I haven't heard FCSvr is going away, the software that is.

My main wonder now is how seemless will the 64bit FCPX will play with the 32bit FCSvr? Any guesses? I'm thinking if most of your heavy lifting (background renders, compression, transcoding, etc.) is done locally, on check out, then it should all be fine.
