XDCam transfer to FCS to Final Cut Pro, i.e., the metadata shuffle

What is the easiest way to get metadata created in Sony's (hideous) XDCam Transfer software into Final Cut Server. And later, after annotating those clips, get all that metadata into Final Cut Pro for the editor?
