Evolution clips freeze in AE

Hi,

Very often the Evolution clips freeze in After Effects. The rest of my animations will play fine, the a flourish for example won't play properly.. I tried rendering it out and i get the same problem...

It will either just appear without being 'animated' on, or it will skip lots of frames..

Any ideas???
