But wait, there's more!

"...the camera zooms out to a wide shot at one point..."
Gee, I missed that point. Did Zippy The Chroma Key Shooter have any notion what zooming on a chroma key shot actually IMPLIES?
The subject's going to look like he's floating over the background, getting larger & smaller while the background remains static. Unless, of course, you make the background MUCH larger than it has to be and you motion track position and scale. Don't use RGB to do it, use luminance.
Now, it IS possible to get an acceptable -- but not great -- key using DV, but the lighting and shooting conditions have to be pretty much perfect. This garbage already has three strikes against it. It's an object lesson in what
NOT
to do when shooting chroma key.
I said earlier that this was high-school quality. Actually, I personally know high school kids who've read up on how to light and shoot for chroma key, ran some tests before the Big Day, and have been able to get pretty fair keys from their prosumer rigs... and they're amateurs! I presume your shooter got paid for this spectacularly subpar effort.
Your best option is to re-light and re-shoot!
