Texture or Bump Map in A. Kramer's Blue Planet?
by Tom Edison on Feb 5, 2008 at 3:59:55 am

Hello all,
I recently watched and used Andrew Kramer's Blue Planet tutorial and created some awesome results. However, I noticed that in some of his follow up tutorials, such as the Zoom Into Earth, his blue planet Earth has some phenomenal texturing, e.g. the shadows of the Rocky Mountains and ripples in the Pacific Ocean. The included BP project files do not yield such results so I wonder if there is a some kind of map used, either bump or texture? Any ideas or suggestions as to how I can obtain the same realism? It looks phenomenal and that's what I want!

AE Pro 6.5
Thanks,
Tom
