I am in the process of building the ultimate editing machine but have run into a snag. I am wondering if anyone has any advice on this issue.
I plan to take my MacPro 3.2 dual quad and install Windows Vista 64 and the drivers for my Kona3 so that PremierePro/AE can use this card.
I have an Atto 4gb fibre channel card that controls a 9TB Rorke Raid5 box. The only question that I have is will the Apple OS and Windows OS both use the Rorke for playback in FinalCut and Premiere. What format does the drive system need to be?
With the new ability to import FC projects into Adobe this becomes the ultimate system.
