Did they say they could?

Even if you CAN, unless you're only doing email and basic document storage (ie, office docs)you deffffffinitely want to format NTFS. And if I read you right that you've installed Vista on a FAT32 disk, you're in for a world of hurtin.

Paragon Software has a Mac app that'll let you read and write to NTFS partitions. I think it's $49, and more than worth it.

Or have I missed what you're trying to do?
