You can use Boot Camp or other partitioning tools to make your own multi-boot installation -- just install those different OSes on the same computer. Then just choose the one you want on boot-up using the option key. You have to pay attention, though -- don't forget to actually rename your partitions so you don't have a bunch of them with the same name.
The most I've heard about is 5. The most that I think is practical is 3.
Now in a virtual environment, you can install as many as you want. I've heard of somebody who installed 12...but I think of that as a science project. Unless you only plan to run a couple at a time, you'd need a TON of RAM....and even if you only need two virtual machines plus the host OS, you'll have a very tough time of it without at least a quarter-ton of RAM.
So out of curiosity, John, what are you using all of these for?
