Johan LeooHow to make Illustrator NOT snap to certain shapes
by on Apr 10, 2012 at 9:32:54 pm

I'm using Illustrator to edit a font, and I have the shapes from the original font in one layer and now I want to trace those shapes in a new layer. The problem is that Illustrator wants to snap my new paths to the shapes in the reference layer, but I only want it to snap to the shapes in the layer I'm working on.
