Hello,

I did some sluething and figured out it was my mcaffee virus scan that would use the "MCshield.exe" process to jump my PC to 100% usage everytime I would try using a tool in CS2. I disabled it and Photoshop works fine. It was a wierd problem; I may have a bad install of Mcafee; or I need to get rid of it altogether. First time it messed with a program I use.
